Tri-Cities Canstruction

Harmony Against Hunger

YouthBuild Elgin is participating in Canstruction in honor of Food for Greater Elgin!

What is Canstruction?

Canstruction is an international hunger-relief charity that hosts building competitions of sculptures that are made entirely from unopened food cans. Our local competition, Tri-Cities Canstruction, is hosted by Waubonsee Community College.

At the end of the exhibition, all cans are donated to local food pantries, like Food for Greater Elgin.
