At Food for Greater Elgin, we've been hearing stories about hungry neighbors caught in impossible situations since 2010. That’s why we built a place where all can feel empowered to select the best food for their family with dignity. This June, we surveyed our guests to better understand their shopping experience at our food pantry. Here’s what we learned:
Pallet to Palate 2024
Food for Greater Elgin is hosting its annual foodie fundraiser, Pallet to Palate, on Monday, April 22. Join us for an evening full of tasty delights, this will be an unforgettable event, featuring local chefs and their specialty dishes in support of Food for Greater Elgin.

Changing of the Guard at Food For Greater Elgin
Dr. Michael Montgomery has submitted his resignation as Executive Director of Food for Greater Elgin effective at the end of July, 2023. The Board of Directors has hired Andres Diez to replace him in that role.
