Savor & Serve: Food Tasting Event Supports Hungry Neighbors in Elgin

Food for Greater Elgin is hosting its annual foodie fundraiser, Pallet to Palate, on Monday, April 28, at The Centre of Elgin’s Heritage Ballroom in Elgin from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm.

Elgin, IL (April 7, 2025)—Food for Greater Elgin is hosting its annual foodie fundraiser, Pallet to Palate, on Monday, April 28, at The Centre of Elgin’s Heritage Ballroom in Elgin from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm.

The event invites local chefs to serve specialty dishes and tasty bites, all in the name of ending food insecurity in the Elgin Area. Foodies and philanthropists alike are invited to sip, snack, and savor—it’s sure to be an unforgettable evening.

Tickets start at $75 and can be purchased at www.foodforgreaterelgin.org/pallet-to-palate. 

Featured vendors include Café Roma, Danny’s on Douglas, Stewart’s Cheesecake, and many other local culinary artisans.

All proceeds will benefit Food for Greater Elgin, a regional, client-choice food pantry where shoppers can select meat, fresh produce, dairy, deli, and shelf-stable items during their visits. Skip the dishes, win prizes, and enjoy scrumptious company while supporting this vital organization.
